When you use Sankalp, we collect the following categories of information:

• AI query text — the questions and prompts you type into the assistant, which are sent to our AI service provider to generate a response.
• Usage data — how you interact with the app, such as which features you open (Expense AI, Habit Coach, Summarizer), how often you use them, session length, and app crashes or errors.
• Advertising data — collected automatically by Google AdMob when ads are shown, as described in Section 3.
• Device information — general technical details such as device model, operating system version, and language setting, used to keep the app working correctly across devices.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, camera, microphone, or files stored on your device.

We use the information above to:

• Generate responses to the questions you ask the AI Assistant.
• Operate, maintain, and improve app features and performance.
• Diagnose technical issues and fix bugs.
• Show and measure the performance of ads, and manage your daily free-query limit.
• Understand overall usage trends so we can decide what to build next.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Sankalp shows ads (including the “Watch Ad” reward option) using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use data such as your advertising ID, IP address, and app interaction data to show ads, including personalized ads based on your interests.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your device’s ad settings (e.g. “Opt out of Ads Personalization” on Android).

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect. AI query text is transmitted securely to our AI service provider to generate responses. While we work to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain usage and query data only for as long as needed to provide the app’s features, improve our service, and meet legal or operational requirements. You may request deletion of your data at any time — see Section 7.

Sankalp is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@bhauautomation.com and we will take steps to delete it.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can exercise these rights, or ask us any question about your data, by emailing support@bhauautomation.com. We’ll respond as promptly as we can.

You can also limit ad personalization at any time using your device’s privacy settings, as described in Section 3.

Your information may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence, including in countries that may have different data protection laws. By using Sankalp, you consent to this transfer and processing.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Effective” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically for the latest information on our privacy practices.
